By far the most popular work of Jagadamba Prasad Mishra “Hiteishi”- as far as I know. One of my favourite lines from this poem that attracts me and several other Hindi-Lovers to the author. These words are a tribute to our soldiers who immortalize themselves while serving the nation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

These heart-touching lines praising our brave martyrs are inscribed on the pedestal of the obelisk at the National War Memorial in India<\/a><\/strong> Gate lawns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These always made me wonder what the complete poem looks like and what are the sentiments that the author wants to share. The poem has a much deeper meaning. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
